Compton Wedding | June 25, 2017

This summer I was lucky enough to get to travel to Colorado Springs to work with one of my favorite couples EVER. Caleb + Gracie Compton are two of the sweetest, most intentional people I have ever met and it was such an honor to photograph their wedding. Their whole day was centered around Christ, their love, and their families. And wow did they have a great dance party! 

Caleb + Gracie were married at the Cordera Community Center that features some epic views of Pikes Peak! All day it was cloudy over the mountain until right when Gracie walked down the aisle. A burst of sunlight flooded the ceremony site right as she made her way to her groom. It was so beautiful! 

When I was looking back through these images to prep for the blog, I fell in love with them all over again. I loved that the day felt so organic and at ease yet it was such a celebration of the Lord and his blessing of marriage. In my journey as a wedding photographer I have seen a big number of ceremonies, speeches, and toasts but it is hard to compare their day to anything else, it was that special.
